Hello all,
A friend has given me this microphone as she no longer uses it. It also has a "cage." I can use my own mike stand, my cord, and will hook into the piano player's Phantom power. It will just be the two of us in a restaurant.

The only thing I am wondering about is the placement of the microphone as I will be sitting down. Can I put it to the right of me where I usually place my other microphone, or should it be straight in front of me. I haven't tried it out yet, tomorrow night will be the first time. I am taking my other Shure as a back-up in case things don't work out.

Any hints or comments will be greatly appreciated. My friend always stood up when she played. The first time I heard it, the sound just knocked me out.

Thanks!

Carol
