Bass Clarinet Case

I have been searching for a case for my bass clarinet, a search that has taken me about 4 years and still has not been fulfilled. The only case that seems to fit my needs is the Bam bass clarinet case, which would be nice to have, but dropping $500 on something I don't play often anymore seems like a waste.

I finally emailed Protec and asked them why they haven't made a bass clarinet case for 2 piece bodied Low Eb basses, and they were like "there is no real demand for them."

I need a nice gig bad-ish case for my bass clarinet so I can tote it around, but I do not like the Altieri's precarious design, Protec only has 1 piece body cases, and Bam is too expensive. Where is the in-between cases?!

(Did I rant about this before?)
