I got this old Conn hard rubber clarinet from the 20's, and with it came an old hard rubber piece that has the word "educator", a faded "woodwind co" trademark, and what LOOKS like G6? on the table. Also has a patent procession # on the side.
Its in really good shape, no fading of the rubber, no nicks or other issues. Blows real nice!
I've read a little bit about these being very nice blanks. Most things mention the G8 facing, but I'm sure the number on this one is a 6.....it might not be a G but looks one....
What's the story on these? I've searched the forums and found some dead links to old brochures, which would be nice to read !
