Just wondering if anyone knows of alternative case that could fit the Tosca, the standard one is way too small and dinky, and it doesn't fit in my old case. I was looking into a ProTec Carry-All, if anyone knows if they work.
Thanks

I use a Bam case that has the backpack straps. I actually got it for free from Lisa Canning upon buing my instrument. it does not bend the extra Eb key.

I suggest the BAM trekking case. I am not affiliated with BAM, but have tried many cases including the Protec ones.
I own and use the trekking case as my primary case and obviously trust it with my life(the clarinet).

Hmmm, I looked at the Wiseman one but there doesn't seem to be much room for "junk", as I love being able to carry around copious of it, which is why I wondering about the Protec one.
A friend owns the BAM trekking, so I might have a look at his.
Cheers.

I have a Protec Carry-All. My R-13 fits perfectly and the mouthpiece nook will accommodate a mp with a long cap.
The name "Carry-All" is no exaggeration. It's a great case.
One caveat, it is a bit of a chore to open (two velcro flaps and two zippers).
Glad to answer any questions.
Good luck!

I would like to know about the reverse - will an R13 fit in a Buffet Tosca single case? I quite like the look of them!

I think the R13 should easily fit, seeing as the Tosca is naturally a bit bigger.
Only downsides are that theres no room for stuff and because the bell has to be attached to the lower joint, the tenon swells.
Other than that, they do look cool.

Is this the older leather covered Tosca case that looks like an oboe case, or the newer shiny plastic case that's meant to look like carbon fibre?

If I were paying that kind of price for a clarinet, I would want a much better case than that one!
