 Amati clarinets

A friend has three Amati clarinets. One is brand new, I believe it is an E flat, though new the corks and pads are all dried out. It is #310.

The second clarinet (I think) is a C clarinet. It is 2/1687. It is not new and cords and pads dried out pretty much

The third one is really unusual, it is longer than a Bflat but not curved, it is much older than second one listed and serial 10746. Is it an A clarinet? It is longer than my Bb clarinet. I played it a bit. Of course corks and pads dried out.

I was fascinated by the Chezc (sp) reeds in the case, #3's.

What I am wondering about, is the second one a C, and is the third one an A?

I have also written to the company.

Thanks for any information - Carol
