Does anyone know any information on a Wurlitzer A Clarinet modele brevete M. R. Verney. It is very old and needs work. I wondered if anyone knows how old it might be and what it is worth. Thanks.

Sue, As far as I know, Wurlitzers are worth quite a bit. Unfortunately, no one in this country uses them. You may want to email some clarinet people, Richard Hawkins may know. Good luck.
good luck

Not necessarily so. There has been more than one company by the name of Wurlitzer that have made clarinets. In the early 1900s there was an American Wurlitzer firm that made clarinets. These are adequate but nothing special.

Based on your description surely not a clarinet from the famous Wurlitzers from Germany: Erlbach in Vogtland (Fritz Wurlitzer) or Neustadt a/d Aisch (Herbert Wurlitzer, the son of Fritz).
When there are questions about Fritz Wurlitzer instruments, models, keywork, serialnumbers and so on, i can inform interested people.
