All,
I was wondering if anyone knew where the cheapest place to get some V12 reeds is? I used to use prowinds.com (18$ per box), but they've upped their prices. I'm not averse to buying in bulk because I play in college with many other clarinetists, and we could easily put together a huge order.
Thanks,
-Jonah

Funny, I've checked the Prowinds page, and a 10-pack of V12 is 20.95 and a 30-pack is 64.95. Am I missing something?
(FWIW, 1stopclarinet.com has them for 19.99 and 59.99, respectively)

The obvious thing is to check several web pages of the big mail order stores. Woodwind, Muncie’s, Weiner etc. Also call Vince Marinelli, at 800 396.1585, 302-479-0373. He advertises in the Clarinet journal too. He’s a great source of clarinets too if your on the East Coast, Delaware. Mention my name when you call, it won’t help but what the heck, it can't hurt. No, I don't work for him. ESP

Just like prices of instrument, reed prices have risen substantially this year.
The average cost per box of V12's from the major dealers is about $21 - $24 (US) per box.
I found it coincidental that Vandoren prices rose about the same time they introduced the new "Flow Pack" boxes.
My advice would be to stock up now, because prices will only continue to go higher ...GBK

The US dollar is not very strong now and prices are reflecting that.
