I have a question that maybe some of you can answer. I just Got off of BG's web site. They sell a clarinet ligature called the metal traditional. It claims that the gold plating has a richer sound than the silver plating. From what I know they are the EXACT same thing except for the fact that one is silver plated and one is gold plated. I do not see how the plating on a ligature can produce a richer sound, as it claims to do! Does anyone know how this could actully help give a richer tone! Thanks you for your time!
Sincerely,
Stephen
