 oral surgery bone graft
Author: hans

I'm not seeking medical advice, but I was wondering if anyone else had had an oral bone graft operation and if this had caused problems.

Mine is scheduled for next week (to bulk up the jaw bone in preparation for a dental implant) and my oral surgeon warned that the potential complications from taking a "donation" from elsewhere in the jaw are loss of sensation and/or embouchure control. He also said that younger patients (I just turned 62) tend to have this problem less frequently.
