Dear Iceland,
I guess I need to qualify a statement like that. I guess that I mean that with my set up I get more than enough overtones with the Vandoren Leather ligature, and project like gangbusters. Other ligatures offer too much "color" for my set up.
If you take all the overtones out a a clarinet sound, it won't project or have any "sweetnes" to it at any appreciable distance.
Thank you for forcing me to clarify.
