 Jazz in the Pines

My wife and I just enjoyed on of the best musical experiences. Jazz in the Pines in Idyllwild Calif, located at 6,000 feet in the mountains put on a fantastic festival. The headliner on Sat was Big Bad Voodoo Daddy (not exactly jazz, but did have a clarinet in two numbers) who were great, but as far as I was concerned Gerald Albright (sax) stole the show on Sunday afternoon. What a fantastic performer and musician. All the profits go to the Idyllwild School of Arts which they use for student scholarships. Four of the performers were graduates. I am going to definitely put this on my calender as a must see festival for great music and wonderful people!

.....Jim
