Mintz Plays Brahms

Yesterday I heard a marvelous performance of the Brahms Sonata #2 on viola, by Shlomo Mintz http://www.arkivmusic.com/classical/Playlist?date=200608271300&site_id=QXRP. It's VERY romantic, with lots of rubato and constant slides. You couldn't play it that way on clarinet, but it's full of wonderful things.

It's definitely my next purchase.
