I play a custom mouthpiece (same one) on both horns.

I guess what I'm trying to ask is, on different horns, do some of you find it necessary to play different sized barrels. Is this due to the design of the instrument (please see my above comment on the register vent tube placement) or is it because of the formation of your oral cavity?
