 Mariguax Clarinet Serial Number
Author: clarinet60

I'm trying to determine the model of a Marigaux clarinet that I've tracked down. It is new (leftover), four digit serial number, but no model number. The dealer tells me it has blue steel springs and silver plated keys. Would this be their top-of-the-line model, or are all Marigaux's considered professional instruments? Any thoughts on how to determine which model this is? Thanks.

I had the very odd experience of having two Marigaux clarinets (no "King" or whatever). The very *obviously* older of the two had a higher serial number. Both had four digits, but the newer was a *lower* number.

My point is that I find Marigaux serial numbers ... a complete riddle.

Bill.
