I got blown out on the 10G E series 'A' I was recently hoping to buy - Selmer wouldn't play ball to take account of a 4 inch split - so I'm back to square 1.
Now because 10G A clarinets don't grow on trees, I'm wondering if I should pick another model/ make.
Does anyone have a view what might partner well?
I can get a good value Recital in A, which shares the 10 series designation in the Selmer catalogue, but the bore dimensions are much smaller; or would a Buffet RC in A be a better bet? I'm not averse to mis-pairing if I can find a good pairing.
I still hold out some hope for locating a 10G A but just in case, any guidance would be great.
Thanks for your help!
