The Evette is a discontinued model and are the predecessors to Buffet's current clarinets.
The plain Evette made in wood was the predecessor to the E-11. The Evette Master Model was the predecssor to the E-13. I would have to guess that a plastic Evette was probably the predecessor to the current B-12. This would mean that the instrument you have purchased is one of their older student models. However, just because they were the predecessors to the current line does not mean they have the same design features and I can't help you there.
I can't help on the Selmer Deluxe either other than to say I just saw one listed on eBay. Is this the same one?
As a general rule, it would be wiser to find out such information before you purchase though I do realize that sometimes timing won't permit that. And since these instruments are a Buffet and Selmer, they should be pretty decent quality. Of course at these low prices, I would guess that they may need a partial to full overhaul to get the best out of them.
