I am about to get a new clarinet mouthpiece, B flat. have an old but refurbished Boosey and Hawkes student horn. I want a mouthpiece to help me get a brighter less stuffy sound to play jazz and swing. normally play alto sax so maybe that can shed some light. my teacher (sax teacher) advised me to get a Hite Artist D....any other input...also any advice about reeds to aim me towards the sound i want.
feel free to e-mail me directly as i am about to bite the bullet and would like suggestions/observations asap.

thanks, jaf
