 Instrument Insurance

Although I own several valuable instruments, I don't yet have insurance for any of them. What types of insurance would be good to have? Does anyone have a company to recommend which offers good insurance options with affordable rates? Also, if I am contemplating having apt. rental's insurance, would that likely only cover loss or damage to my instruments if they were at my home?
