For list members who would like a chance to put a face to the names that you have encountered, I have tentatively made arrangements for us to meet on Thursday between 1 and 2:30 PM for pizza and beer (or whatever suits you) at "The Pie Pizzeria", located at 1320 East 200 South; Salt Lake City, Utah. It is right on the edge of the campus and should not be hard to find. I have chosen this time because there are no recitals or lectures. The only events scheduled at this time are the ICA General Meeting and the High School Competition.
I will also try to find a bulletin board somewhere in the vicinity of registration to post a note concerning this get-together and leave some stickers to designate list members. You can stick these on your badge and then can recognize list members by the presence of the sticker.
I am staying at the Marriott and am happy to answer questions or help people find things. I will be arriving on the 8th and will be leaving on the 14th. If you see me please stop me and say hello. I will be signing off the list tomorrow evening and will be checking my mail throughout the day.
If you have family and/or friends in attendance with you or know of anyone interested in joining the list or just wants to eat lunch with a few ornery clarinetists, drag them along with you. If I have left anyone out, please don't hesitate to come.
