Well, I use a Pro Tec case, so I can tell you about those . . .

It holds 12 reeds, is made entirely out of plastic, and it's best to wipe off the reed a lot before you put it away so it doesn't warp. It holds regular and thick blank reeds nicely, but the thick blank ones will stick out a little bit on the edge. Don't force them in all the way unless you enjoy having a dent on the vamp. The thing that holds the reeds is permanently attached to the case (well, unless you disassembled it . . .). It is a very sturdy case made from hard plastic, so I don't think the case itself would warp unless you left it in the sun for a long time or something.

Also, it has room for holding drying papers, notes to self, etc.

All in all, a nice case! :)
