For sale is a completely overhauled Uebel 632 full Oehler system Bb clarinet.
The body has been oiled, all pads have been replaced with white leather pads, and springs have been regulated. The original silver plating is thick and has no wear. The serial number 65111 matches on both joints and shows that the manufacturing year is 1965, before the Uebel factory was taken over by the state, so this is one of the last good ones from the last century.
The wood is beautiful and doesn't have any cracks. A small venting hole has been drilled in the bell to improve the intonation of low E, F, first register B natural, and 2nd register C. The original case is functional, but the latch doesn't fully click, so I will add additional protection for shipping.
There is an extra trill key for the left hand, so you have an alternative fingering for G#/Eb. There are two original barrels for tuning options.
The other clarinet is a model 636, probably from the 80s, made in the GDR. That could use an overhaul; only a few pads have been replaced. One of the original barrels has been shortened, and that one probably has a crack that is not extending to the bore. The body has no cracks, and the plating is in good shape with minor tarnish but no rough surfaces.
I ship worldwide. Please ask for the specific shipping cost. The price is $1250 for the 632 and $350 for the 636. I can sell both for $1300!
