In the last concert at my school we played this song called Prelude and Fugue in D minor by Bach. Personally I loved the song but something bothered me all the time. For Instruments in Eb Like Alto sax,Alto clarinet and Soprano clarinet When there is music written out in concert D minor the key signature that you have is D major and if it was in concert f# minor then the key would be F# major. This just really bothered me for a really long time.
Just something for you to know.

how else would you have them write it? A concert D minor key signature has one flat(relative to Concert F) and since altos are transposing instruments they play a minor third up (or major sixth down) from all notes, so the key signature for a Concert D Minor, now becomes A concert B minor, for altos.
