do not know if I sent previous email correctly..1.Try building up the inner of the mouthpiece a little with plastercine.2.Take more mouthpiece in your mouth than normal.And Jut your lower jaw more forward than normal.3 before trying for say an alt. A - go from a front F or E (same fingering as F plus 3rd finger left hand.) Experiment and practice.All the best Don Darby.

In addition to what I suggested before- you must hear the note in your head before attempting to blow it. Don D.
