 Natural/Sharp together

Just a quick question: anyone know what note to play when there is first a natural sign, the a sharp in front of a C (the c is the first one in the bar, and the piece is in the key of G sharp minor)! It is number 40 from 48 studies for oboe by ferling. Thank you!!!!!!!

Huh... now that's kinda weird. If I had to make a guess, I would say play the C#. If you look at the last line, there is an example of what you're talking about followed immediately by a B#. It makes sense to think they mean you to play two separate notes instead of going from C natural to B# and back. Also in the third to last line, there is a chromatic run that has the natural-sharp marking on an F in between an F double-sharp and an E#; it makes sense to assume that you should play the note in between, the F#. I wonder what the significance is of that notation however.
