I play the clarinet. For my senior band concert, I'm playing a song called "Instant Concert". Most of the song consists high register notes. Should I choose a 2 1/2 strentgh reed or a strentgh 3 reed.

I reallllllllly need help. The concert is next month!

Which reed are you used to playing? If you normally play a 2.5 and you change suddenly to a 3 you will need at least a month to learn how to play it. But a 3 will give you better control of the high notes. If you are used to playing a 3, go for it.
