Hello, Nicky.
The first thing for you to do is help us to identify the
instrument clearly. Is it a german MAKE oboe or a german SYSTEM one? I mean, what wood is built out of? Are there
branded, stenciled or embossed names or numbers? Hints
as "made in..."? Does it have any rings, plain toneholes,
or finger plates? Connections between the two main joints,
possibly the presence or absence of key pads or vents on the bell joint? Is it a standard french instrument made in
Germany or a peculiar german variety? And so on...
Please be more specific, otherwise it would be impossible
estimate for a price quotation or getting useful specs and infos for you to sell it (and to find a buyer who is just waiting for such an occasion). Good luck!
Best regards,
Andrea
