 Repad and Respring a Flute

Does any one know how to respring and repad a flute with out a pad iron or a pad oven? Your assistance would be greatley apreciated. Thanks

You can use your oven in your house. PREHEAT the oven to 150 to 175 degrees. You can place the flute on 2 coffee cups to suspend the flute up in the air. You still need to slightly wet the pads and clamp the keys shut with key clips. You can turn the oven off shortly after you put the flute in the oven. The remaining heat should be enough to do the job. Allow the flute to stay in the oven for about 15 minutes. Remove the flute using pot holders or towels.
Allow the flute to cool and then begin the regulation.
***** Don't forget to back off the adjustment screws and release all springs prior to baking the pads. This could prevent the pads from seating properly.
