I just drove 45 minutes north of Los Angeles to Lancaster to visit the Best music store I've ever been to! Scimonetti Band & Orchestra is a huge music store (and repair shop) with NO GUITARS AND DRUMS. The only stock woodwind & Brass...and a HUGE selection of that.

I came there looking for an alto sax. They put me in a room with over $200,000 in saxophones! Every single Selmer, Yamaha, Cannonball, Yanigasawa, Keilwerth, and a huge selection of vintage saxophones! They also have a huge selections of mouthpieces as well. I couldn't possibly play through it all in one day.
I ran out of time, but I wanted to check out their clarinets. They're sealed in a humidifier, but it looks like they have al the Yamaha's, Selemrs, Leblancs, Jupiters, and Buffets.
Since I drove from LA, Jimmy Scimonetti adjusted my sax for free. It's never played better! If you live in California, you gotta visit this place. I'm sick of talking to guitar players at other music stores about what reed I should use!
