 Not really, if you want my advise buy a Yamaha $1,000 sax, first of all Ebay takes forever to ship, the sax can get damaged, and/or it might be already damaged,

 I disagree with Ven's blanket ebay statement. I got my new flute from ebay in great condition. You just have to be careful. (We also saved about $200-$300 that way!) Look around though. Try them out to find what brands you like.

 yes i got my sax on ebay and i LOVE it..but you should figure which model you feel comfortable playing

 i got my alto on ebay for $150 and it works great. make sure that you know enough about the instrument you are buying to make a good choice. and always look at the seller's feedback.
