Author: Jeff

HEY!!!
I've been playing my tenor for about 2-3 years and i have my half time music for next year and its a B****! I have to flutter tounge a chromatic scale from the middle C to the E above the staff. Thats no prob for me. but after i hit the E i have to Glissando from that E up to an unspecified note (im guessing an A or a B in the Altissimo range). Could anyone give me some pointers?

Usually, if there is no specified note to glissando to, then you just go up to the highest note you can fit in the time. I'v never heard of actually glissing up to an altissimo note like A or B and if this is half-time music (marching band, I presume) it would be nearly impossible to do something like that.
