Hi,
I'm hoping to learning the Pentatonic recorder so that
I may be able to teach my homeschooled children, but I seem
to have misplaced my fingering chart. does anyone know where I may be able to find another.
I was just about to begin my first attempt at teaching myself the pentatonic recorder when to my horror I was unable to locate the chart.
Any help would be most appreciative.

I can't find a chart anywhere on the web. Is it a Moeck Flauto Penta recorder? Does it look like it has 7 holes on the front with two of them filled in? Does it have a thumb hole. If so, I should be able to work out what the correct fingerings are and send them to you.

As far as I can tell from examining photos, the Moeck Flauto Penta pentatonic recorder is similar to a normal recorder with two of the holes closed off.
You should place your hands on it with your left thumb covering the hole at the back, 1st finger on the first hole and 3rd finger on the 2nd hole. Your 2nd finger rests on the gap between the holes, where the "filled-in hole" is.
Your right hand 1st, 2nd and 4th fingers cover the remaining holes. The 3rd finger rests on the gap where the other filled-in hole is.
The fingering is as follows.
First octave:
C T 13 | 124
D T 13 | 12-
F T 13 | 1--
G T 13 | ---
A T 1- | ---
Second octave:
C T -- | ---
D - -- | ---
F t 13 | 1--
G t 13 | ---
A t 1- | ---
The small t means that the thumb hole should be "pinched" or slightly uncovered.
