here's how the fingerings work: pressing 1st valve (index finger) lowers open note a whole step, 2nd valve (middle finger) lowers a half step, and 3rd valve (ring finger) 3 half steps. The open notes are C, E, G. Therefore, pressing first valve gets you F, A#/Bb, and D, second valve gets you B, D#/Eb, F#/Gb, first and second gets A and C#/Db, and second third gets G#/Ab. However knowing how the valves work allow you to get alternate fingerings. Hope this helps.
