Hi there, doubling friends I just wanted to share with you all a flute I've recently discovered that I think is a WONDERFUL find for doublers, who can't or don't want to invest in a hugely expensive flute. It's called the Mezzo, by Bernhard Hammig, and I've been using one on an international tour of a large musical for about 2 months, and I'm smitten with it. I wanted to share a Youtube video I made about the instrument, as I'm so excited about this flute I want everyone to know about it (I'm not an employee of Hammig, and they're not compensating me in any way for this, I'm just REALLY enthusiastic about it!)
I know a lot of doublers find the flute to be the most challenging double for them(for good reason), and an instrument that can aid you in sounding colorful and rich is a good find indeed!
