Mark said, in part:
"That being said ...
Woodwind.Org will be offering a service to try and remedy those problems ..."
More on this when Mark? How can we do this and still stay a non-profit "ORG"?

As I mentioned in a previous, I can't be non-profit due to a number of reasons (I've never been a "non-profit", but I had planned to be).
My incorporation papers have been submitted; I'm waiting for them to be approved, etc., then I can start up my "Certified Classifieds". Nothing's been finalized, but in essence I will be providing a "certification service" for the more expensive items. As a disinterested party we will examine, test play, and perform a visual inspection of items for sale and make the results public. That way bothseler and buyer can be assured that the instrument is as advertised. We'll then offer an escrow service to the seller; the buyer will send us the money, we'll send out the instrument, and after the recipient is satisfied forward the monies to the seller. I'm not sure if I'll offer credit card services, though; the expense is relatively high and then there's the possibility of frivolous charge backs.
The person doing the inspections will be Forest Aten of the Dallas Opera, the (soon to be) vice-president of Woodwind.0rg, Inc.
Details to foloow. The new "Classifieds" are up, too - you can include pictures now, and ads "auto-expire". The links to the Sponsors and other places aren't active yet, but I'm working on that (along with a thousand other things ...)

Mark, if we are not paying you--we surely should start. Thanks for ALL YOU DO.
