another "heads up" re: Bogus eBay notices

Just saw this today on MSN news.

A good reminder, DO NOT give anyone you don't know personal info about yourself, especially credit card number(s) or passwords.
I got one of these bogus notices a couple of weeks ago and posted about it here. Thought I'd do it again as a reminder.

Earilier today, I received a note that appeared intially to be some sort of an official e-bay message. However, after reading your post I checke the return path and discovered that it was from our good friend, nobody@www.laplaza.org

Gee whiz, does that sound bogus or what?

I'm in contact with e-bay safe harbor and forwarded them all the information.
