B40 Vandoren & B45 mouthpieces

For all veterans out there, can anyone give me any informantion on both of those mouthpieces? Which had a brighter sound? Which is easier to play? Is the B40 worth the investment than the B45? Please, I'm about to replace my old one soon. And I MEAN next month......

In my opinion as humble as it is, the b40 13 is the better of the series, and gives a nice warm tone with great projection.

I agree with David, I have a B40 and a B45 and much prefer the B40.

Then how would a B40 compare with a M30?

The tone not so different, but the B40 would require lighter reeds and play about the same. The M30 is only slightly more closed and enables the player to work with a harder set up.
