I've got a Selmer K series (early 1930's) clarinet in the the key of A and don't have a clue as to its value. Can anyone help?

The Selmer "K" series were reputed to have been the best clarinets that Selmer ever made. I played on one at Juilliard in the mid-1940's and it was a wonderful experience. My schoolmate at the time, Cloyde Williams, had a set of "K" series Selmers. As to its value, that depends on its condition or if it needs a complete overhaul. I would estimate it to be worth between 500 to a 1000 in US dollars. But, to those who remember the "K" series, it might be worth a great deal more. I don't know if it was manufactured in the early '30's, but there is information somewhere that could probably pinpoint the exact year of its origin. I think you have been very fortunate in finding a very nice and rare instrument
Sincerely,
E.T.

Thanks E.T., but my clarinet skills are so abysmal (and my prospects for playing an A clarinet even worse) that I put it up for auction on eBay.
