If your superpatriotic message was meant for "Bob only", why didn't you sent it to him privately, rather than clutter up this board with stuff that has nothing to do with the topic we are all interested in, namely the clarinet. This is not a GWB cheering board! I am sure that your father-in-law, and many others, contributed mightily to our current freedom and we should all thank them profusely for that, but what have YOU done for us lately?

Mark C.--You are right, and I stand corrected. I thought that in the thread, Bob's name was not highlighted for replies --upon a recent check, I see that I was wrong and it, in fact was clickable for direct replies. I could have--and should have--sent him a direct and confidential email rather than trying to communicate by posting on this board.
So, my apologies to all for my error, but not for the content of the message. I'll be more considerate/observant in the future and stick to issues of "the instrument we are all interested in."
