Looks like there's at least one unsatisfied customer, that's why he's selling it.

To each his own. I visited Walter Grabner's studio (the basement of his home in Highland Park near Ravinia) and tried both the CXBB (Walt's personal mouthpiece) and CXBS (Selmer C* which Walt enhances) and chose the latter. I also had Walt work on my old VanDoren B45, but I still prefer the CXBS model which gives me more "power" for my playing venues. Like with anyone's mouthpieces, you need to try a few to get the one that "works". My CXBS is (IMHO) the best there is and has made bass clarinet a quite "fun" instrument to play.

I noticed that it bought a fair price Bob, so just ask himn to send you two or three to try out and pick your best one. I don't think you will be sorry. If it was not so much trouble (and he was not so busy) he might make a good living just selling them on e-Bay. Well, maybe not a GOOD living, but when the inventory gets full I do know he has sold a couple that way.
