Looks like when I visited Frank Kaspar in Cicero, only all he had were his own stuff. And all I bought was a barrel (grrrrrrrrrr)

From the looks of the pictures in middle, lower right, it appears that this "army" got hit by a bomb.

GBK - I think that your designation of a group of mouthpieces is possibly incorrect and we should ask the BB for the correct term - others of course include a: gaggle of geese, pride of lions, exaltation of angels, school of fish, army of ants, rafter of turkeys, but there should be a better term for a collection of mouthpieces??? My guess - a too'tin of mouthpieces.

Doc...I was actually thinking the same thing. There should be a collective term for a large number of used mouthpieces.
I was going to title this thread "A Rabble of Mouthpieces" or "A Siege of Mouthpieces", but now I am leaning toward:
"A Rejection of Mouthpieces"...GBK
(anyone else have a "collective" term that may fit?)

lets borrow a surfing term (borrowed from somewhere else...)
a "quiver" of mouthpieces
i think it sounds great, next time someone wants to consult me about my mouthpiece stuff i'll say "ok, i meet you at the studio, i'll make sure i have my QUIVER with me"
certainly easier to carry around than a quiver of surfboards

If reality is allowed to prevail, it could only be: a "confusion" of mouthpieces. Think not? Well, do try them all and tell me which one you like best.

John

Well, with the pile that big, I would think a Hemi-demi-semi-quiver of mouthpieces, give or take.

i'm off for 4 days at the beach with BOTH my "quivers", heh heh heh- 4 days of enjoying the beauty of the sea on the incoming tide, and then spending the outgoing tide memorising the concerto i've got to play next month.... heaven would be like that i'm sure! (if only i can get the E flat clarinet part of Daphnis and Chloe out of my head dam it, i went to sleep last night dreaming "da daaahhhhh da da da da da")

This looks like an opportunity to practice bowling! Two of the pictures look as though the seller already has...
