Can anyone give me some information about a Daniel Bonade Educational recording put out by Leblanc around 1958? It contained, on side one, some
Rose phrasing and articulation etudes played by a student of Bonade (Russell Langrabe, I think), and on side two, Bonade playing the solo from the Zampa Overture by Herold. I would like to get a copy of this long out-of-print recording, or at least a tape of the Zampa solo from side 2. Thanks to all who can help.

I may be remembering incorrectly, but I believe that the clarinetist on the etudes was Robert Listokin. He told me several times that he had made Rose Etudes recordings for publication for Bonade. At the time we were speaking of it, he did not have a copy of the recording.

Thanks. Everybody says it is very rare these days--it was a very limited production. I had heard the player was either Bob Listokin or Russell Landgrabe.

In the past, there have been various discussions about the recording Daniel Bonade made of Zampa. This recording also contained Bonade's student, Bob Listokin, playing certain Rose etudes. I studied for many years with Bob, and he is retiring from his teaching position this year. A retirement party will be help at the end of April and I am trying to locate a copy of the record for the party. Does anyone have a copy, and if so, could I arrange for you to make a copy of it for me?

Russ Landgrabe has many recordings and could very well have this. Send me an email, (if it is not too late) and I will forward your message on to him.
