S J - that is an odd remark - the Pete Fountain is a fine clarinet, unless you happen to be in the Buffet Marfia (which I'm assuming you are)

Mrdi - I believe that there are several LeBlanc clars that are "essentially" the same as the P F, as to bore size [15.0 mm] and the "added" artic. C#/G# and the "fork" Eb/Bb keyings. These, from what I have, and have seen on EBAY, are much less costly than those with the script P F and the silver/gold plated keys. My Dynamic 2 and the Dyn. H I worked on are good-players, big bores for jazz and other playing. These are described in fair detail in the LeB brochures of the '60-80's. A good-sized music store should have some info to help you. Luck, Don
