 Buffet age?

Can anyone tell me the approximate age of a Buffet RC?
It's stamped UK and has the serial number 1711**.

Professional clarinets by Buffet use the same serial number sequence. Go to "Serial Numbers" on the pulldown menu in the upper right.

Jez - just got latest issue of BBC Music Mag ... featuring your orchestra - very nice, very nice. I tried to listen out for you but wasn't terribly successful.
