I just got a Leblanc LL, it has Nickel-Silver keys if anyone knows what this is could you help me out, they look like Nickel keys to me.

It is an alloy of Copper {Cu}, Nickel {Ni}, and Zinc {Zn}, was and still is called German silver tho it has none except possibly as an impurity. We just had quite a discussion of it and its corrosion product [blue-green] on rings and keys called verdigris on the Onelist Early Clarinet site. If you cant find the site, ask again. There are many compositions known, generally about 55 Cu, 25 Zn and 20 Ni. It is a strong but malleable alloy well suited for keys and rings.

Almost all clarinet keys are made of this material.... and today .. they are either nickle plated or silver plated.
Ther have been some atempts at making clarinet keys of some other matirial.. such as cast metals.. but these are usualy more brittle and not easily fixed.
