I have been interested in buying a new clarinet recently. So does anyone have any suggestions on the better clarinet brands and models? Please share them with me. And if anyone has any opinions on the different brands of any other instruments (sorry, I know this is not so clarinet-related), please tell me, too! Thanks!

Selmer Buffet and Leblanc are the major players inthe US and all produce excellent intermediate and professional horns. You can't really go wrong if you stick with one of those names.

I agree. I would go with the Buffet R-13 if you really want the "American" Sound. That's the sound right now, anyway.
