 Pyne Barrels

Pyne barrels are available in 3 kinds of taper - "Moennig", "Pyne" & "Peterson". May I know if anyone has any experience with these barrels, could tell me the significance of each kind of taper . As far as I know, "Moennig" taper is for darker tone, what about the "Pyne" and "Peterson" tapers?
