As a recent convert from single to double reeds I was wondering if there are any similar sites to this for oboe players?

Hi Emmy! I'm diving into the oboe world, and there have been people here in this forum who have been helpful. I asked a question under "oboes!?" and received some information. I have not checked these all. (I suspect that the first website may end in "html" instead of "htm", but that is what was typed on the forum.)
www.uky.edu/~moses/bdrp/index.htm
www.usedoboes.com (Marti Hess is very helpful.)
www.gprep.org/classical/email.html (oboe/bassoon electronic mailing list)
www.idrs.org/General/Society.Info.html (Int'l double reed society)
I haven't had time to search any further for a double reed forum. Email me, please, if you find one!

There are some double reed groups, but no oboe sites like this one. There's a Yahoo eGroup, but its not very active:(http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Oboes/messages)
I suppose we could start a drive to make that one more active. Or maybe we could ask Mark Charette if we could leverage off of what's here. (Mark: Care to weigh in here?)

The IDRS is quite a great organization and publish some wonderful proceedings. They have a group on the internet which sometimes give valuable information. The bassoonists seem to discuss reeds more than the oboists, however.
