Just to clear up a thread from a couple of weeks ago from Jason. BG ligatures and other products did not take their brand name from the great Benny Goodman. The following is a copy of an Email from BG in France:

Dear Roger,

BG is a trademark patented owned 100% by Franck Bichon, BG has nothing to do with the great artist Benny Goodman !

B was for Bichon and G for our past distributor.

Yes, when I checked trademarks I found Bichon, BUT, how can I explain my good mouthpiece with BG in a circle AND the signature , Benny Goodman ??? Don

Don,

BG Franck Bichon don't make mouthpieces - just excelent ligatures, slings, swabs, stands, and mouthpiece cases.

Your mouthpiece must have been made by another company which may have been endorsed by Benny Goodman?
