 question about tryout music
Author: Stephanie
Date:   2001-11-23 04:11

Ok. In the third exercise for All state: Page 252, "Allegro Moderato". Start at the beginning. Stop on the fermata at the end of line 4.
MM Quarter note = 116

There is a turn at the nest to the last measure (I think). Is that a B natural in the turn? And right after the turn, is the sixteenth note supposed to be a B flat or natural? Thanks.

I forgot to tell you that it was out of the Klose book. Sorry! :)

The B natural is in the turn, however the next arpeggio is a C7 (C dominant seventh) chord ( C E G Bb ). Therefore, the note in question is Bb....GBK

How's that? I didn't think that that exercise in the Klose is supposed to be vivace anyways. It just doesn't seem like it would be played that way. I dunno.....
Is that exercise in Rose 4 flats? cuz that's what this one is. That is very peculiar. :)
