I like the 5RV and the C*, I find the C** just slightly too open.
From others you should find out if the mouthpieces you are considering are of good quality, but the actual decision to purchase one or the other should come from you, after you have tried them all, side by side.

Should we assume you mean an alto clarinet, not sax? If so, what make?, since there seems to be some differences in bore size among the various makes. Having a Selmer-Paris, I would choose the good-old Sel C* for all-around playing. The Bundy 3 seems to be much the same, the VanDoren B44, 45? is also a good one, IMHO. I'm not familiar withe the others. Luck, Don

Eugene -
Whichever mouthpiece you decide on, be sure to try out several of each model. There's a lot of sample-to-sample variation in both Vandoren and Selmer models.
The Vandoren 5RV is a medium facing. I'm not sure whether they make the 5RV Lyre for alto clarinet. If they do, it's a little more open.
As Peter says, the Selmer C* is medium, and the C** is more open.
Best regards.
